BAI Hotel Cebu

Standing at the heart of Cebu City's business and leisure district, BAI Hotel positioned itself as the Visayas' premier urban retreat — and its lighting needed to match that ambition. Lumitron was brought in during the value-engineering phase to review the original specification and identify where premium performance could be delivered without inflating the project budget.

The lobby and all-day-dining areas received Prolicht adjustable track luminaires — chosen for their ultra-narrow beam options and tool-free relamping that future-proofs the installation against changing display and F&B layouts. Guest-room bathrooms and mirror strips utilised Zico's IP44-rated Dim-to-Warm linear luminaires, providing the warm 1800–3000K range that hospitality designers consistently identify as the single largest factor in guest bathroom satisfaction scores.

Lumitron also advised on zoning strategy: separating the hotel's check-in arcade from the adjacent retail corridor with a deliberate lux-contrast transition, drawing guests into the check-in zone through targeted warm accent lighting on the sculptural reception desk. This single design move reduced the perceived wait time and was cited in post-opening guest feedback surveys.

The full BAI Hotel installation covers approximately 300 guest keys, three F&B outlets, a roof deck, and back-of-house service zones — all supplied and commissioned by Lumitron's technical team within the project's 14-week fast-track programme. BAI Hotel Cebu stands as one of the most complete hotel lighting projects in the Visayas that Lumitron has delivered to date.
