How We Work

The Lumitron
Project Process

Every project moves through six carefully defined phases. Each one builds on the last — so nothing falls through the cracks and the result always matches the vision.

Phase 01

Discovery

We start by understanding your project inside and out — the space, the vision, the stakeholders, and the goals. We review architectural drawings, walk the site where possible, and ask the questions that reveal what the lighting truly needs to achieve. This foundation shapes every decision that follows.

We read the room before we specify it — ceiling heights, daylight, and what each area is actually for.

Phase 02

Design

We simulate and plan your lighting with precision — DIALux rendering, lux mapping, and scene-by-scene programming aligned to architecture, mood, and code compliance. You receive full photometric calculations, fixture schedules, and layout drawings before a single product is ordered.

A photometric curve shows how light leaves a fitting — narrow for drama, wide for comfort.

Value Engineering

We optimize your specification to hit the precise intersection of performance, aesthetics, and budget — justifying every fixture and eliminating over- or under-specification. Where substitutions are proposed, we present side-by-side technical comparisons so the decision is always informed, never assumed.

High-CRI light renders colour honestly; low-CRI light flattens it. Same room, same 3000 K.

Supply

Drawing on premium global brands like Soraa and our own Lumitron Signature range, we source and deliver every fixture to your specification — anywhere in the Philippines, on schedule. Our warehouse team pre-stages deliveries by phase and zone, so your site receives exactly what it needs, when it needs it.

A reflected ceiling plan is the fixture schedule made visible — what goes where, and how many.

Support

Our team stays on-site to guide your installers through proper fixture placement, wiring, and control integration — bridging the gap between design intent and execution. We provide installation drawings, respond to RFIs, and coordinate directly with your MEP contractors to keep the project moving.

A dimming curve should follow the eye, not the voltage — smooth to 1%, with no colour shift.

Commissioning

We tune every scene, verify every lux level, and hand over a fully tested system — ensuring the lighting performs exactly as designed from day one. Our commissioning report documents every measurement so the client, designer, and building owner all have confidence the system is performing to spec.

Why Lumitron

One team.
Every phase.

Most lighting projects in the Philippines involve a fragmented chain — a consultant who doesn't supply, a supplier who doesn't commission, a contractor who doesn't design. Lumitron is the single point of accountability across all six phases.

That means no blame-shifting, no specification drift, and no surprises on completion day.

Exclusive Brand Access
We pair the world's top architectural lighting brands with our own Lumitron Signature range — giving your project the right fixture for every specification and budget, sourced and supported locally.
On-Time, On-Spec Delivery
Our logistics team phases every delivery to the construction programme. Fixtures arrive at the right zone, at the right time, with all documentation — eliminating costly delays on site.
Documented Commissioning
Every project closes with a formal commissioning report — lux levels, scene memories, control programming documentation — so the building owner has a full technical record for future reference.
FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What does an architectural lighting consultant do?

An architectural lighting consultant designs, specifies, sources, and commissions the lighting for a building or space. At Lumitron, we manage the full six-phase process — discovery, design, supply, installation support, value engineering, and commissioning — so the client has a single point of accountability from concept to handover.

How much does professional lighting design cost in the Philippines?

Every project is scoped individually. What shapes a proposal is the size of the space, the number of areas and fixture types, the level of control and commissioning required, and how much design work the project still needs. We set out the scope and a fixed proposal after a discovery call, so there are no open-ended fees.

What's the difference between a lighting supplier and a lighting consultant?

A lighting supplier sells fixtures. A lighting consultant designs the specification, verifies performance, and takes responsibility for the outcome. Lumitron does both — that's the single point of accountability that avoids blame-shifting, specification drift, and site-day surprises.

Do you handle installation and commissioning?

We coordinate installation with your contractor and perform formal commissioning ourselves — lux verification at every fixture, scene programming documentation for DALI/DMX/Casambi/GRMS systems, and a written handover report signed off by the client and designer.
